Hi, I’m mo keegan.

I’ve worked across Local Government and the Higher Education Sector for over 30 years, in roles in both Human Resources and Organisational Development.

I have an innovative and creative approach to dealing with OD issues which has led me to working with various concepts such as Mental Toughness (MTQ48), Spotlight, Restorative Practice, Behavioural remodelling, Mindfulness and NLP.

Where I don’t find a suitable model to deal with the organisational problem, I creates one to address the issue e.g., Integrated Resilience model and the Organisation Action Learning Model. I’m trained to masters level is both NLP and Action Learning, a qualified coach of individuals and teams as well as a mindfulness practitioner.

I am passionate about working with individuals and organisations to achieve their best. I’ve contributed to the book “How to Create a Resilient and Positive Culture in the Workplace” a collaboration by global experts on how they have engaged with organisations to have real impact.

My Approach

I have an innovative and engaging approach to equip organisations with the tools to support people to thrive, one conversation at a time. This approach is based on the idea that people are the most important asset of any organisation and that by fostering a culture of collaboration, empowerment and diversity, organisations can achieve better performance and outcomes.

Some of the tools that I use to support individuals and organisations are:

  • An accredited Spotlight profiling coach. This is  a powerful and intuitive profiling tool designed with performance in mind. It profiles both behavioural style and mindset of individuals and teams, and helps them leverage their strengths, improve their coaching conversations, and adapt to different contexts. It is based on the science of psychology and the experience of elite sport 2 which is a digital platform that helps organisations identify and develop the strengths of their people, and create a fair and inclusive talent development model.

  • Integrated Resilience programme using the mental toughness measure MTQ48. This programme which I developed with a colleague Ken Harrison in 2016 aims to develop and strengthen the capacity of leaders and managers to cope with and adapt to various challenges and disruptions in their work environment. It focuses on different aspects of resilience, and provides practical tools to support people build their mental toughness and resilience.

  • Executive coaching, I aim to help people achieve their goals and improve their well-being. Executive coaching focuses primarily on what you do and what you have, with a secondary focus on who you are. It looks at your professional life, especially your leadership skills, stress management and impact on others. An executive coach will examine your actions and action plan to get the desired results and help you improve your capabilities and performance.

  • Workforce sufficiency – working with organisations to ensure that they have the right people, with the right skills, in the right roles, at the right time and at the right cost. It involves analysing the current workforce, determining future workforce needs, identifying the gap between the available and future workforce, and implementing solutions to address the gap. Workforce sufficiency approach can help organisations to align their people strategy with their changing organisational needs and goals. It also encompasses supporting organisations to have a robust employee value proposition that is key in a time of struggling recruitment and retention.

  • Bespoke Development Programmes, which I tailor to the specific needs and challenges of each organisation, and use a range of methods such as action learning, group coaching, workshops and online learning. This can be anything from a new managers bootcamp programme, managing your impact on others to team coaching.

These tools are examples of how I work to inject a vibrant, fresh thinking into everything i do, and help organisations to adapt and thrive in a changing world.
